Hyde Elementary School (K-3) is a place of joy and excitement for learning

We offer an inclusive program where all learners feel safe, nurtured and challenged. Our staff embraces the uniqueness of each child and strives to foster confidence and good character.
- Through a rigorous, Common-Core aligned and project-based curriculum, featuring comprehensive resources developed by American Reading Company, The Math Learning Center, and the philosophy of Cognitively Guided Instruction, students develop their ability to be critical thinkers, researchers and problem solvers.
- Through a unique Character Education program we encourage students to be self-reflective, teach them responsibility, empathy and self-awareness using a skills based approach connected to our Hyde Five Words: Courage, Concern, Curiosity, Leadership and Integrity.
- Through diverse curricular offerings we expose students to a variety of experiences in the arts, science, technology and physical education that provide myriad opportunities for unique and creative expression.
Our dedicated and talented faculty and staff members are committed to providing a positive and supportive environment where all of this can happen. We work closely with families to keep them engaged in their child’s education. Strong relationships built with teachers encourage students to confidently seek out learning.

For five years in a row, Hyde Elementary School has been designated a No Place for Hate School, working with students to understand the importance of character, community, and conflict resolution.
